Feed a Family this Holiday Season!
Our 2024 Christmas Program is now underway, and, with the rising cost of food, we expect demand will be very high. Last year, thanks to your generosity, we were able to support 342 families and hope to be able to provide assistance to up to 400 this year. Your donation will help us to help brighten the holiday season for those struggling with food insecurity.
If you live in our catchment area and your family needs a little help this holiday season, please call 613-820-5428 and leave a message on our answering machine to register for our Christmas Program. One of our volunteers will be in touch with you to confirm the arrangements. Your family can register for our Christmas Gift Card Program from November 1 to November 30 .
Obviously, this program is a very large and expensive undertaking. That’s why we’re also inviting families and businesses within our community to sponsor a family by making a donation. You can make a contribution to our Christmas Gift Card Program by sending a cheque to our mailing address or by using the online donation form below.

THANK YOU!
Since 2020, we have changed from our usual Christmas hamper campaign to instead support families through providing gift cards. Our older Christmas program required dozens of volunteers all congregating in a relatively small space over a short timeframe. By providing gift cards instead of hampers we’re able to support more families while reducing the amount of volunteer time.
We are incredibly grateful to the dedicated volunteers who assist us in coordinating our Christmas program, registering clients and handling the distribution of these cards. We are also grateful to the churches, schools, businesses, community groups and individuals who have contributed to FAMSAC in the past, either by making a financial donation to sponsor families or by collecting food donations and baby items which we will use to continue providing emergency food assistance in the coming months. We hope you will be able to continue your genorosity this year and help support families in your community.
