FAMSAC (Family Service Association of Churches) is an emergency food assistance program in West Nepean. The service is run entirely by volunteers and is funded by the sponsoring parishes, local businesses, industry, service clubs, schools, Scouts, Guides, and public-spirited citizens. Support also comes from several local stores who provide generous donations of day-old bread and pastry products.
FAMSAC regularly supports 60-80 families a month and at Christmas about 200 special hampers are distributed, each containing a turkey, fresh produce and all the trimmings.
Your donations and support are essential to FAMSAC as it receives no funding from any level of government.
